The Home Access Point Lite (hAP Lite) is an ideal little device for your apartment, house, or office. It is MikroTik’s lowest-priced Wi-Fi router; as such, the specs match the price. For example, it has only fast Ethernet ports (100 Mbps) and a dual-chain 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4, with a max throughput of 54 Mbps.
For the average home that isn’t doing anything special and has no special requirements beyond a simple streaming service and web surfing, this device will serve them perfectly. It supports button-triggered WPS for convenience when someone wants wireless internet access, and can also be set to change to cAP mode and join a centrally managed CAPsMAN network with the push of a button.
Of course, the device runs RouterOS with all the features, including bandwidth shaping, firewall, user access control, and more.
The hAP lite is equipped with a powerful 650 MHz CPU, 32 MB of RAM, dual-chain 2.4 GHz onboard wireless, four Fast Ethernet ports, and a RouterOS L4 license. USB power supply is included.
